Let's Talk Behavioral Health is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Bound Brook, NJ

Job Description: Behavioral Technician workers are responsible for a one-to-one teaching session with young children with developmental and intellectual disabilities using a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. BA must be able to work independently as well as with managerial staff, patients/family members, and other co-workers courteously. Must be able to prioritize work demands and organize time efficiently. The BCBA provides supervision and on-site training. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Provide behavioral interventions to children and adolescents in home and community settings.
  • Implement an individualized service plan for each child and youngster.
  • Manage and work with youth with behavioral problems.
  • Develop and initiate safety standards for youth at all times.
  • Monitor, record, and document observations of youth behavior.
  • Modify daily activities of youth appropriate to behavioral interventions.
  • Instruct youth on positive behavioral aspects.
  • A treatment team meeting every 3 months
  • Maintain and manage a clean and safe environment for youth.
  • Develop and initiate appropriate recreational activities for youth.

Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree (BA, RBT, BS, BCaBA preferred) or have substantial experience in ABA or special education with an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge, skills, and experience supporting individuals diagnosed with emotional, mental health, neurological, and developmental disabilities. Minimum of three years of experience working in the field of behavior analysis and intervention preferred.

Location: Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Essex County

Language: English and/or Spanish speaking candidates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
